I just came across some amazing photographs. The artist Cecilia Parades transforms into her paintings. Here is a little background about her: "Parades was born in Lima, Peru, but has lived outside of her home country for 35 years. Much of her career has centered on investigating themes of migration, adaptation, and relocation. She says her work is "also about longing." Parades uses body paint, make up, and costumes to achieve her remarkable transformations."
So lets move on and look at her art.
Siren in the Sea of Roses, 2011
Spirit of the East, 2008
I just love how the paintings look. It is amazing how she just disappears into the paintings.
